Objectives

The main objects of the association are as follows:

To promote social, economical, educational and physical advancement of the people of Ashtagrama
To promote brotherhood among the people by holding gatherings, debates, excursions, public lectures etc
To institute and award scholarships for general education and vocational training
To organize hostels
To maintain libraries and reading rooms
To organize rural reconstruction schemes
To collect funds to further the said objects
To take such steps as may be beneficial to the people of Ashtagram
